Assurant Solutions Intermediary Appoints COO

Assurant Solutions Intermediary, a specialist in the mortgage broker and intermediary market delivering a range of general insurance products, has appointed James Muller as Chief Operating Officer.

In this newly created role, James will oversee and manage the operational compliance, maintenance and commercial development of the Assurant Solutions Intermediary business.

James joins the business from Assurant Solutions where he held a series of commercial and general management responsibilities since joining in 2005. Prior to joining Assurant Solutions, James spent three years at GE Capital (now Genworth Financial) in a variety of commercial and partner management roles. Previous experience also includes working as part of the corporate development team at the former diversified industrial group, Hanson plc, and with banking group Wasserstein, Perella & Co based in New York. James is a graduate of Queens' College, Cambridge and CASS Business School.
